From Whiskeytownavenues Message 1225:  "Whiskeytown's roving leader Ryan Adams is at it again.  His new band (Adams plays with lots of folks) Snow Kobra will be playing on Thursday (July 22) at the Mercury Lounge to show off Adams' harder-rocking side.  As for his main band, Whiskeytown's new disc is due in early 2000."

4. * Note from Douglas Clubock:  "I saw this show. The band was advertised, and played as, SnowKat.  Gary Lucas opened.

Revised note from Clubock:  "Yikes.  I feel like a dope.  Gary Lucas was the headliner.  Ryan opened and played a very short set.  As for the SnowKat thing, that's what I wrote down at the time, but now I have my doubts as I see just how many People on the web are convinced that it was Snow Kobra. Oh well..."
