Set list based on below review:

If this past Portland show is any indication of what we are to expect from Whiskeytown in the future, GO SEE THEM !!!! The show was fantastic. They are such a tight bad. It even surprised Cary who after an unplanned transition from (I think) Bar Lights into Losering, she added, "No that's a Fuckin' band." She then explained that this new line-up has never played that song together. Adams was in great spirits! Yes I know those two (Adams/great spirits) have rarely seen the light of day recently. He even invited an autience member up on stage to sing "Puff the Magic Dragon", a song that the guy yelled out for Ryan to play. They ended up singing My Town. Here is a set list of the Portland Show:

Another Review:

We saw Whiskeytown Friday night at the Crystal Ballroom.  They put on a great show, 44 Long and MAKI opened.  I estimate there were about 400 people there (a little less
than half capacity).

44 Long had a quick 30 minute set - they are excellent. They are not ND music, but they have great pop stuff much like Elvis Costello.

MAKI had about a 45 minute set. They sounded a lot like Smashing Pumpkins - I was not impressed by MAKI at all. Very loud punk/thrash music.

Whiskeytown came on about 11:00, and played for about and hour and 45 minutes.

I thought they only played a few songs I recognized off the album - I don't know where Steve (postcard post) got his set list - I do not recall hearing somebody remember a rose, even though I requested it!!! Gotta stop drinking whiskey just because it's Whiskeytown.

I was going to list the songs I knew from their albums, but Steve's set list is much more complete.  They did one encore, and ended the show with Ryan on his back
playing a guitar solo. It was rather a short solo without the raging feedback that I have seen (and heard about) before.

I got a copy of one the advertisment posters from the wall (the Crystal always makes up nice posters for every show, kind of like the Filmore but they don't give away extra copies), and had four of the band members sign it. We chatted with Mike Daly, Ryan, and Caitlin briefly after the show. I didn't recognize Mike at all (he had just been on stage!), so he signed my poster with "Thanks for not recognizing me".

All in all, it was an excellent show - of the four times I've seen them, this show ties for 2nd best. It would have been better if I was able to hear some of the new songs at least once before hearing them live.

Come on Whiskeytown - give us new new album with new songs, not just a re-release!
